Quang Nam: Homestays tourist village

11 April 2016 | 10:19:00 PM

The project “Building a homestays tourist village in Cam Thanh eco-village” financed from the Mangroves for the Future (MFF) program by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has been given to Hoi An City People’s Committee.

The project’s total expenditure is nearly VND366 million, of which VND282,816,500 is from the MFF program, VND21.61 million from the local reciprocal capital and VDN61.5 million from the community. The project will be carried out by the Cam Thanh Women’s Union from March 2016 to February 2017 in order to empower women, help people have some new awareness of eco-tourism, community tourism and create sustainable livelihoods for the local women.

The Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee requires Hoi An People’s Committee to coordinate with the donors to plan detailed activities under the agreement and the regulations on foreign non-governmental assistance receipt, management and use; and then report it to the authorities.
