The idea "Straw wood - Artificial wood from straw" from Tra Vinh University has excellently surpassed more than 100 entries from 5 countries, reached the final round in London and won the championship title of the competition.

The project group "Straw wood - Artificial wood from straw" of students from Tra Vinh University won the championship of the competition.

It is known that the GVB Prize 2025 Startup Competition in London is an activity within the framework of the Global Vietnam Business Festival 2025 with the theme "Green Transition and Digital Transition". This series of events is organized by HaMy Academy (United Kingdom) & KAmedia in coordination with the National Center for Innovative Startup Support (NSSC - Ministry of Science and Technology), aiming at young Vietnamese startups, as well as connecting with investors to explore funding opportunities and expand international cooperation networks.

At the Finals, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - representative of the project authors group said: “Conquering the highest position of the competition is a great pride for our group. This is not only the victory of a project, but also a testament to the creativity and relentless efforts of students at Tra Vinh University in developing sustainable solutions. We hope that the project will continue to be developed and practically applied to contribute to environmental protection and green industrial development in Vietnam and the world.”

The project "Artificial wood from straw" by students of Tra Vinh University won the championship of this competition, and is also evidence of the startup and creative abilities of Vietnamese students on the international startup map.
