Vice chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Phung Tan Viet has agreed to make a registration dossier to recognize the Son Tra banyan tree as Vietnam Heritage Tree in the period 2014-2020. The dossier must be approved by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment.
