Beautiful Hanoi

(VACNE) - I am very thankful to have been able to spend three weeks in the beautiful city of Hanoi during the study of my research project about Eutrophication.

Hanoi has many lakes around which many activities seem to happen. On weekends especially, the surroundings of the lakes transform themselves into a point of social gatherings for the local community. Many lakes and waterbodies are also located in proximity to temples and pagodas. All of this makes Hanoi’s Lakes something that is truly treasured by the people living here.
This bustling city also gets its charm from the thousands of street food points and street vendors. All the locals greet you with a warm smile and seem happy that you are visiting their country. Hanoi is a very hospitable city and is one I will surely remember.
