Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), to raise public awareness about energy saving, environmental protection and climate change around the world. Responding to the Earth Hour Campaign, from 20:30 to 21:30, many organizations, businesses and households in the province have turned off the electricity. In Thanh Hoa city, the electro-optical equipment in Lam Son Square area has also been turned off.
