VACNE ACTIVITIES
International Initiatives Union, Europe Commission, Visit VACNE Office

On October 5, representatives of Bulgaria’s International Initiatives Union (IIU) had a working visit at VACNE Office in company of some staff members of Volunteer for Community Development and Environment Education (VFCD).
On behalf of VACNE, Mr. Le Quy Tue and Mr. Phung Quang Chinh, members of VACNE’s Communication Committee received and worked with the delegation.
After being introduced about the functions, tasks, structure and activities of VACNE, reprentatives from IIU expressed their appreciation for the results achieved by VACNE and their wish to cooperate with VACNE in organizing nature and environment protection activities among the youth in Vietnam. The guests presented their plans for long-term cooperation with VACNE’s member organizations in developing and outreaching their programs to ensure sustainable development of youth organizations and clubs using successful models from Europe. Together with VFCD staff, they also discussed with VACNE’s partners about a plan to organize a 5-day training course in Hanoi for volunteers groups on skills in approaching, helping, and communicating environment protection awareness to build a healthy life in the community.
