VACNE's Scientists Contributed to Building up Environmental Protection Strategy of Bac Giang Province

Prof. Dang Kim Chi, the President of VACNE's (Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment) Scientific Committee, Ass. Prof. Pham Binh Quyen, VACNE's Secretary-General, and some VACNE's scientists have participated in a Consultancy and Opponency Committee for “Bac Giang Province Environmental Protection Strategy until 2020”.
Building up the Environmental Protection Strategy is very important task for Bac Giang Province. It has critical meaning and direct impact on sustainable socio-economic development of the province. Therefore, the strategy should be closely integrated with other models of growth and use of resources (such as human, land, animal, plant, water, and mineral resources) of the province. Based on this premise the VACNE's scientists have put forward a number of issues to be added and revised in a draft of the "Bac Giang Province Environmental Protection Strategy until 2020" to finalize the draft so that the provincial authority can approve and apply it in practice.
