Many of VACNE activities are recognized in the statement of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA)

(VACNE) - On August 23, 2020, the Central Council of VUSTA had a meeting "online" in Hanoi. Due to the COVID epidemic, all members of 63 provinces / cities did not gather in Hanoi, but used technical means to attend.


The meeting listened to preliminary reports on the first 6 months of 2020, draft political reports to be submitted to the 8th VUSTA Congress for the term of 2020-2025 and to give comments on personnel for the VIII term. 

VACNE President was pleased to see that, along with the joint efforts of nearly 200 member associations, the results of VACNE's activities were repeatedly mentioned in VUSTA's report.

In particular, the report clearly stated that the consultancy on social protection, comments on the draft Law on Environmental Protection of VACNE was effective; the conservation of the Vietnam Heritage Tree is a good idea; VACNE's public relations work is fruitful. VACNE's emulation and commendation were also mentioned in many units and individuals that received medals and certificates of merit.

The 8th Congress of VUSTA's term 2020-2025 is expected to take place in December this year.
