This is the first meeting of Vietnamese representatives to attend and contribute ideas as an official member of GAHP. Ms. Rachael Kypka - Managing Director and Mr. Raymond Ruyoka, member of the GAHP Board of Directors ran the Conference with the direct participation of 22 members, and the online participation of the remaining members of GAHP (total of nearly 60 countries)

GAHP members reviewed the results of 10 years of operation, exchanged and determined the long-term vision; short-term goals and tasks for 3 years 2024-2026; uniformly identify the priorities of this organization; and share the opinions of new members from Vietnam and Mongolia.

At this important conference, Mr. Pham Van Son, General Secretary of VACNE highly appreciated the role of GAHP, expressed his thanks for GAHP's attention in recent years, especially the fact that VACNE has become a member of the Board of this organization, and affirmed VACNE's determination in activities towards the goal of:  reducing pollution for human health.

On this occasion, the VACNE Secretary-General also gave an overview of VACNE; shared some of the operational experiences of the past 34 years; at the same time, contributed many ideas to solve root problems related to water and air pollution, human health... He said the countries need to link into groups, each with a pioneer country. In addition, it is necessary to consider many factors in countries to replicate, propagate and act meaningfully. In particular, GAHP needs to focus on the right people for action with their hearts, enthusiasm and responsibility for GAHP's honorable missions./.
