(VACNE) – This afternoon (24/2), at Tan Thao Special National Monument, the People's Committee of Son Duong district solemnly held a Ceremony to announce the Decision and welcome it with a Vietnamese heritage tree.
The three Heritage Trees recognized this time are all in Tan Lap village, Tan Thao commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province, located in the Tan Thao Special National Monument Area. Specifically: Sanh tree, 250 years old, in Dong Lum area, block 43B, 260-year-old banyan tree, in Ao Rom area, lot 3, block 43B, 265-year-old banyan tree, in Ba Khe – Nui Hong area, lot 2, block 42, Tan Lap village. These are also the first 3 trees of Son Duong district to be recognized as Vietnamese Heritage Trees
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Huu Tan, Vice Chairman of Son Duong District People's Committee, leaders of Tan Thao commune, Son Duong District Forest Ranger District, Tan Trao Historical Cultural and Ecological Tourism Area Management Board and a large number of people and students in the area
TS. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Nature and Environment Protection attended and awarded the Certificate of Recognition of Vietnamese Heritage Trees to representatives of Tan Lap village and Tan Thao commune.
