Specifically: from the organization and building of forces; Consulting, assessment - social criticism; Communication to raise public awareness; Scientific research, to the work of People's External Relations and Conservation of Heritage Trees, have all done well and are highly appreciated by the public opinion.

Regarding the organization: newly established the Binh Duong Provincial Association of Environment and Welfare; Institute of Environmental Education and Community Development Sciences, headquartered in Da Lat; admitting 2 new member associations in Hanoi (Organic Agriculture Center and Dai Phu Construction Joint Stock Company) and a number of other localities are also promoting procedures to organize the Founding Congress of the Provincial and City Environmental Protection Association. Many other units of the Association such as the Environmental Communication Cycling Club connecting the Heritage Tree, Vietnam Green Film Studio also consolidated the organization and admitted many new members. 

Environmental communication is of special interest to the Association. Professional contents, especially on green transition, on carbon credits,... by the Web Association, Natural Resources and Environment e-Magazine, tinmoitruong.vn,... posted with a lot of rich content and are of interest to readers. As a result, for the first time, Hoi's website has the number of visitors reaching 45,697 (Vietnamese version on March 2).

Other communication activities such as: National green environment program; environmental fashion show "Phu Tho - Green Aspiration" at the Hung Temple Festival in 2024; planting 5 Konia trees of War Zone D (Binh Phuoc) on the land of the Ancestor (Hung Temple); Launching the 2nd Vietnam Heritage Tree Writing Contest; Logo drawing contest for "Agent Orange Victims' Day 10/8"; contest "Green Creation – Fresh Living" - reducing outdoor straw burning; painting contest "Make the world cleaner"; on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital,... organized by the units under the Association has caused a great resonance in public opinion. 

In addition to the Phu Tho Provincial Conservation and Environment Associations, Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated to organize the above events, in recent months, the Dak Lak Provincial Conservation and Environment Association has also coordinated to organize painting and writing contests on the event of preserving Vietnamese Heritage Trees, raising awareness of environmental protection among students. More gratifyingly, the new media channels on the Youtube platform: "VacneGoGreen" and "VietnamXanhTV" have launched more than 50 videos after a short time, attracting over 1,000 "registered" addresses and over 50,000 "views". The channel is considered to be a good start, promising.

In addition, the Association's experts also actively participate in sharing experiences at scientific conferences and seminars related to the field of natural resources and environment of many sectors, localities and countries in the region. Specifically, such as: Scientific Workshop on Assessing the Role and Enhancing the Value of Quang Nam Dam River Lake Wetland, Scientific Workshop on Finding Solutions to Promote the Value of Xuan Son Phu Tho National Park, Training Workshop on Promoting the Monitoring Role of the Catholic Community in Environmental Protection and Climate Change Response in the Central – Western Region Former; Experience in responding to environmental incidents with the Russian Federation and ASEAN technical organizations (in Malaysia) 

People's foreign affairs in the field of natural resources and environment continue to be maintained such as: supporting the connection of Korean, British and Finnish units with Office 701 (Ministry of National Defense) in implementing post-war dioxin detoxification methods in Vietnam; at the same time, coordinating with the Korea EIA Association to organize the 8th International Conference on EIA in Korea.

VACNE's Vietnam Heritage Tree Conservation activities in 2024 are very excellent, the Heritage Tree Council is very active and continuously meets in person and online, organizing more than 100 CDS Honor Ceremonies to meet the requirements of the community. By the end of November 2024, the total number of Heritage Trees has been recognized as over 8,000 trees, belonging to 145 species, including 9 new species. The Heritage Tree has been present in 58 provinces/cities across the country. VACNE has collaborated with Can Tho University and Can Tho Association of Natural Resources and Environment to successfully organize the scientific workshop "Preserving and promoting the value of Vietnamese Heritage Trees in the Mekong Delta".

Evaluating the Association's performance in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Association participating in this meeting all said that: thanks to the efforts and enthusiasm of many leaders and members, the Association has successfully completed the set plan and expressed optimism in the coming time. In the immediate future, the Association will focus on completing the draft of the book "Natural Resources and Green Transformation in Vietnam" to be submitted to the publisher at the beginning of next year.
