Lake in mountain

To Nung Lake is a volcano crater was shut down hundreds of millions year ago. Lake is oval in shape with the area of 230ha. The road leading to the lake is a picturesque image, flanked by the blue pine trees. End of the road, climbing up the stone stairs, visitors will step into the very romantic house which was built on a hill. The full blue water all the year around that we can see many attractive shoals of fish are swimming underwater. Lake has a depth of 20 to 40 meters. This is the basket of fish, annually provides hundreds of tons of fish for Pleiku. The canoe surfing on the lake surface was smooth and interesting





The scenery around the lake is spectacular, the trees and the flowers blooming along the lake, the butterflies, and the birds singing every morning. Beside, there are many vast forests, rolling winding hills but the canoe crossing the water.
In summer, the fresh and cool air will make visitors have pleasure feel. It can be said that the lake has absorbed the hot wind to bring the vast highlands fresh breezes. This is not only a source of drinking water, water for crops and livestock for a large area but also provide hundreds of tons of fish, shrimp every year. The lake brings huge important marine natural resources, especially to the highlands at an altitude of nearly thousand meters above sea level Water Lake with many rare perspective emerged as a ruby in the middle of the vast red land Highland.
The Lake nears Highway 14 and Highway 19, so it very convenient for visitors to observe. Visitors can overview the red land basalt hills, tea and coffee plantation hills. That is the Pleiku city- the mountain town, foggy mountain city. Far distance is vast forests; rolling hills Visitors also see the high throw home within a radius of 6km on the south of Ham Rong Mountain.
To Nung Lake is like a pearl of Pleiku, those provinces on Central Highlands is very recommended destination domestic and international tourists.
