Each year, Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort reduces nearly 50,000 plastic bottles and 10 tons of plastic waste by using glass bottles, items made of/from bamboo, wood, and other biological products.

Silk Sense also encourages visitors to limit the use of plastic items during their stay.

The resort is operating the non-profit project Green Cups, which recycles disposable cups to grow vegetables, trees, and seedlings.

Then, they are delivered to local residents for free, thereby spreading awareness of environmental protection in the communities.

In addition, Silk Sense was built with unburned bricks. The air conditioning system at the resort doesn’t release heat into the air. The mineral salt swimming pools are without chlorine.
