Continue to organize online seminars on the environment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

(VACNE) - That is the affirmation of the leaders of the Vietnam Association for the Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) after a very successful online seminar in the morning of August 25, 2021.

On the morning of August 25, 2021, the VACNE held an online seminar "Maintaining environmental protection activities in the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic", this is an activity to co-operate with each other. during the epidemic season and opened many programs and seminars to discuss many current issues with experts interested in domestic environmental issues.
 

The seminar chaired by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, President of VACNE; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Chu Hoi, Member of Standing Committee of VACNE; Mr. Pham Van Son, General Secretary of VACNE with experts from the VACNE at the bridgehead of Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.

The chairing members exchanged issues about potential risks during the Covid season that seriously affect environmental protection activities, risks affecting the marine environment, and environmental incident response activities, offered some solutions for businesses operating in the field of environment, ... and answered dozens of questions from participants from all over the country.

The talk was held successfully, although the duration of the talk was not much, within 120 minutes, there were more than 5,200 participants, the maximum time to watch the live was 1,500 people (1,5K eyes) and with hundreds of questions from the panelists.

Responding to the expectations of the participants, the leaders of the VACNE decided to continue organizing  seminars as soon as possible, the topic of the discussion will be updated on the information channels of the VACNE.

At the end of the seminar, the President of the VACNE thanked Deputy Minister Vo Tuan Nhan for sending his greetings to the seminar, the speakers, and more than 5,000 delegates who attended at the seminar, thank you to the Environmental Incident Response Center for good operating the seminar and hope that the next seminar will have wider participation and more convenient interaction.
