Beautiful beaches of Quang Tri

01 September 2024 | 07:50:00 AM

Not only famous for its revolutionary relics, Quang Tri is also home to many beautiful beaches with clear water, and affordable services, such as Cua Tung, and Cua Viet.

Quang Tri owns marine tourism resources with beautiful, pristine beaches, such as Cua Tung, Cua Viet, My Thuy, Hai Khe, Trieu Lang, Kim Thach, and Vinh Thai. Which, Cua Tung Beach (Vinh Linh district) is known as the "Queen of beaches" and Cua Viet Beach (Gio Linh district) has a large area, with smooth, flat white sand.

These are three beautiful beaches in Quang Tri Province that visitors should not miss if they have the opportunity to visit this land.

Cua Viet Beach

15km from Dong Ha City, Cua Viet Beach is in Gio Viet, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province. Cua Viet stretches out with a wide beach, and fine white sand, next to green pine forests.

When visiting Cua Viet Beach, tourists will see the clear blue water blending with the clouds and sky, parallel to the sea is a long white sand beach, like a white silk strip across the beach.

Cua Viet Beach is sheltered by two high cliffs, so the sea is calmer. Therefore, the beach is safe for everyone, including children and women.

Looking from above, Cua Viet Beach is like a jade green gem.

Several infrastructure and accommodation facilities have been invested in Cua Viet Beach, meeting visitors' needs.

Crystal clear sea and pristine white sand.

If the sunrise on Cua Viet Beach has a pure, vibrant beauty, the sunset here has a gentle, charming and dreamy beauty, with a soft pink-red colour.

Cua Tung Beach

Known as the "queen of beaches", Cua Tung Beach (Cua Tung town, Vinh Linh district) has a wild beauty with a long beach, woven with a thin layer of fine sand, lying gently on the red basalt land, next to the green pine gardens as far as the eye can see.

Cua Tung Beach is only about 30km from Dong Ha City.

Cua Tung Beach is located at the historic Ben Hai River leading to the large sea gate. This is also the "connecting point" of a series of historical relics associated with the old 17th Parallel. Cua Tung Beach is not too far from Vinh Moc Tunnels and Hien Luong Bridge. In the photo is Cua Tung Bridge which connects Vinh Linh and Gio Linh districts.

With a coastline of 14.5km and clean natural conditions, Vinh Thai Beach has great potential for tourism development.

Cua Tung is considered the "Queen of beaches" by the kings of the past. Therefore, Cua Tung was chosen by kings and nobles as a great resort because of its fresh air and picturesque scenery. Many hotels, restaurants, and villas serving resorts were built at this time, making Cua Tung a place for entertainment for the nobility.

Vinh Thai Beach

Located in Vinh Thai Commune, Vinh Linh District, Vinh Thai Beach still retains its pristine beauty with a long coastline, hidden under rows of green trees.

Stretching up to 14km, Vinh Thai Beach is especially blue and clean when there are minimal tourism and trading activities. The long sandy beaches are still where local fishing boats anchor and go out to sea every day.

The beach tourism season in Vinh Thai usually starts from the end of April to October every year. The number of tourists visiting is quite large, an average of 5,000 visitors per year.

Like Cua Tung and Cua Viet, Vinh Thai Beach is emerald green, especially on beautiful days.

If you want quiet while enjoying the whole "ocean", visitors should not miss this beautiful and wild beach.
