(VACNE) – As reported, the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) in collaboration with the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) held a workshop on 10 and 11 March 2022 thanks to the active support of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)

The conference was a great success with many research proposals to reduce the impact of environmental pollution on biodiversity and human health.

(VACNE) - On February 11, 2022, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, nearly 30 experts of VACNE and experts from a number of other fields met directly and online from the bridgeheads: Hanoi - Hue - City. Ho Chi Minh City, together to discuss to prepare for the Workshop on "Impacts of pollution on biodiversity and human health" which will take place in early March.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $60 million financing package to improve the climate resilience of transport and water supply infrastructure in Vietnam’s south-central coastal provinces of Binh Dinh and Quang Nam, especially in remote upland districts with large ethnic minority communities.
