VACNE ACTIVITIES
Urgently prepare for the workshop "Impact Assessment and Post-management"

(VACNE) - As reported, the VACNE units are actively preparing for the Vietnam-Korea-Japan-China Seminar entitled "Impact Assessment and Post- Management" which is expected to be launched in early August in Danang.
The VACNE has assigned four Vietnamese authors to write reports (Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, Assoc. Prof. Tran Yiem, Assoc. Professor Phung Chi Sy and Dr. Nguyen Khac Kinh) and motivated scientists and managers inside and outside the VACNE to write articles. It is very glad that VACNE has received a number of registrations, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Le Trinh (Ho Chi Minh City): Technical Guidance on Environmental Protection and Social Security for Hydropower Development Projects in Vietnam;
-Associate Prof. Dr. Le Van Thang (Thua Thien-Hue): Some experiences in impact assessment and post-management of Hue University;
-Dr. Le Hoang Lan (Hanoi): Quantification of biodiversity in impact assessment.
