(VACNE) - On 19/11, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi city), the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) in collaboration with related units held the closing ceremony of the program "For the National Green Environment 2023"
The program "For the National Green Environment 2023" has been launched from May 5, 2023 with many rich activities. The objective of the program is to call on the whole people to work together to protect health and living environment, promote a healthy lifestyle for the community, towards a greener - cleaner - more beautiful life in the future. The program "For the National Green Environment 2023" is also one of the important activities to celebrate the 35th Anniversary and the Eighth Congress of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment.
Attending the closing ceremony there were Mr. Chu Ngoc Kien, Deputy Director General of the Department of Personnel Organization, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Prof. Dr. ASEAN Diversity Hero Dang Huy Huynh, Vice President of VACNE, Dr. Tran Van Mieu, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Green Environment Program 2023, and a large number of agencies, businesses, news units and the press attended and reported on the closing ceremony.
The program has received the attention of Party and State leaders, the companionship of most ministries, departments, localities, the business community, scientists, especially the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, cities such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment awarded Certificates of Recognition to 18 enterprises meeting the Program criteria, 08 individuals with excellent achievements in communication of the Program and 15 young messengers who have done well in spreading environmental protection communication of the Program "For the National Green Environment 2023"
Also at the ceremony, leaders of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment and guests joined hands to cut the ribbon to open the program "For the National Green Environment 2024"
