The summit calls attention to the critical role women in South Asia and East Asia Pacific can and must play in improving the region’s social, political and economic growth. Delegations of women leaders from 20 countries across Asia have been selected to attend the summit. They are social service providers, media professionals, lawyers, parliamentarians and small business owners.
Each participant will engage in targeted trainings and strategy sessions as a member of one of three tracks:
1. Women as an Economic Force
2. Women in Political Leadership and Public Life
3. Safeguarding Women’s Human Rights: Combating Violence Against Women
Ms. Hue attended the Women as an Economic Force where she spoke at the inspiring interactive session Branding for Success. “Your brand is your most valuable asset. The goal of branding is to define a brand that creates an emotional connection between you and your audiences. The brand is YOU, YOU as a leader”- inspired session trainer Mary Schnack, a distinguished international communication expert from Mary Schnack & Associates. Ecolife, a community based ecotourism initiative, a combination of community enterprising, natural resources protection and advancement of technologies for development was referred as a case study to illustrate the core message of the session and received high attention from audience.
Ms. Hue participation at the Summit was nominated by the US Embassy in Hanoi for her works as on one of pioneer social entrepreneurs in Vietnam.
