VACNE would like to join the frontline force against the epidemic

VACNE - That is the sharing of the representative of the VACNE, General Secretary Pham Van Son with the press at the National Conference "Vietnamese scientific and technological intellectuals implement Resolution No. The 13th Congress of the Party” on the afternoon of September 15 in Hanoi, organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and directed the conference.

 

 General Secretary Pham Van Son represented the VACNE to attend the Conference 

Attending the conference were many leaders of the Party, Government and State along with 140 delegates attending  at the Hanoi bridge point and about 2,000 participants participating online via the bridge at 62 Offices of the People's Committee of provinces and cities.

 

Representative of VACNE, Secretary General Pham Van Son attended and shared with the press: “Through the in-depth instruction of the Prime Minister in the Conference, we can see that the Prime Minister is  directing actions very drasticly and timely, and at the same time fully understands the aspirations of the intellectuals in VUSTA as well as those of Vietnam who want to devote themselves and share difficulties with the Government, especially in the period of fighting the Covid-19 epidemic now. The VACNE hopes the Prime Minister will allow VACNE to participate in the frontline force against the epidemic, especially in environmental protection, prevention and response to environmental incidents. tends to increase because all resources are concentrated on fighting the epidemic, when the rainy season is coming".

 

The representatives of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) made suggestions and wished to devote themselves with all their knowledge in all fields. Many localities also spoke about the difficulties of intellectuals and scientists, but still did not forget to be ready to support to effectively implement Resolution XIII of the Party.

 

The conference took place seriously, each participant was aware of his or her role to boldly participate in many meaningful projects and the VACNE will also carry out these activities. proposed programs so that the epidemic does not disrupt the enthusiasm and desire to contribute on the knowledge base.
