After the opening speech of the President of VACNE and receiving the New Year greetings from the Chairman of the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council, the Standing Members and Board Members all expressed their agreement with the orientation report, tasks for the term 2023-2028 and the specific action plan to be implemented this year.
According to the report, immediately after the successful organization of the Eighth Congress, the work of consolidating the Boards of the Association was implemented, and at the same time admitted 2 more collective members and established 1 new unit. Most local associations and affiliated units are working in 2024, according to the orientation of the VIII Congress of VACNE.
Just over a month, after the end of the Congress, there were 14 localities in provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Long An, ... continuously organized the Ceremony of Recognition of the Vietnamese Heritage Tree initiated by the Association, with the enthusiastic response of a large number of cadres, soldiers and local people.
The seventh Vietnam-Korea EIA workshop initiated by VACNE, on the topic "Impact assessment and conflict management" conducted in Da Lat (Lam Dong) in recent times was also very successful.
With the atmosphere of the New Year, right at this warm Year-End Ceremony, VACNE leaders also discussed to reach a consensus on the organization of the Vietnam Heritage Tree Writing Contest and compile 1 important publication on the topic Natural resources – the premise for sustainable development in Vietnam./.
