VACNE participating 13th informal ASEM Seminar on Human Rights: "Human rights and the environment"

(VACNE) – From May 21 to 23/10/2013, Asia - Europe Meeting (ASEM) held 13th informal ASEM Seminar on Human Rights with the theme "Human Rights and the Environment", held in Copenhagen, Denmark.




Opening session, afternoon, evening 10/21/2013


After the opening session on 21/10, divided into four workshop groups discussed separately:


     
Working Group  1:  The Interaction between Sustainable Development,
Environment and Human Rights 
 
Working Group  2:  Access to Information, Participatory Rights and Access to
Justice 
 
Working Group 3: Actors, Institutions and Governance 
                             
Working Group 4: Climate Change and Human Rights Implications 
 
 
Being Asia - Europe Foundation funding, VACNE sent representatives to participate in the seminar, registered discussion in Group 4.

The website will inform readers of events and the the contents of the seminar.

 
 
The seminar worked quite seriously. Opening session conducted at 16 h, when the majority of delegates came to Copenhagen .

On 23/10 workshop meeting divided into 4 separate groups, each group has about 25-30 participants from Asia, Europe, and international organizations.

ADB finances climate resilience infrastructure...
