VACNE leaders and members in Hue are actively advocating for the establishment of grassroots associations in the locality

(VACNE) - That is the content announced at the Intimate Meeting between VACNE's Delegation and the Faculty of Environment, University of Science, Hue University and Bach Ma - Hai Van National Park.

At the meeting, the delegates were happy to review and appreciate the coordination activities between the VACNE and its member units in Hue, especially the co-organization of scientific seminars on biodiversity conservation in the Truong Son Mountains, environmental impact assessment between Vietnam and Korea,  the Vietnam Heritage Tree Conservation Event,  the health care of the Heritage Tree, the environmental communication cycling trips across Vietnam and many other activities in Hue.

Leaders of the Association highly appreciated the initiative and efforts of the Faculty of Environment and Bach Ma - Hai Van National Park in participating in related activities, recently the implementation of the International Project on Reducing Open Burning  and Minimizing the Harmful Effects of Plant Protection Drugs on the Environment and Human Health (GAHP Project). Both sides wish to further strengthen cooperation and coordination of activities in the coming time, first of all, participating in the Heritage Tree Writing Contest and the 8th EIA Workshop in Korea.

In his speech, President Nguyen Ngoc Sinh was very happy and wished to be ready to coordinate to accelerate the establishment of the local grassroots association as it is being conducted.

The meeting took place intimately, warmly, but very briefly in the atmosphere where everyone was preparing to respond to Typhoon No. 4 that was about to make landfall in the Hue area.
