VACNE leaders agreed on actions to adapt to new circumstances

(VACNE) - On February 24, 2021, a large number of members of the Standing Committee of VACNE's Central Committee had a meeting in Hanoi, and agreed to take action to adapt to the new circumstances.

This is the extraordinary expanded meeting of the Standing Committee with VACNE Office, to discuss solutions to adaptation actions with context COVID service extends to complete the task; at the same time, to gather resources (documents and experts) to carry out potential scientific research tasks in the coming time.



After listening to the report of the VACNE President  about the outstanding activities, as well as the current difficulties and challenges, the Standing Members and leaders of the Association highly appreciated the initiative of the staff of the Association's Office, core experts and affiliates of the Association, in COVID epidemic prevention according to general guidelines; ensure the full implementation of the general planning tasks of social criticism consulting; environmental communication, scientific research, Vietnam Heritage Tree Conservation. In particular, the tasks of Domestic Waste (chaired by Prof. Dr. Tran Hieu Nhue) and Plastic Waste Recycling (chaired by Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Chi) have implemented on schedule  approved. 

The gathering of forces, preparation of documents and conditions for the implementation of four new scientific research tasks were also contributed by many delegates with specific and consensus, with the expectation of the interest of investment partners, to quickly deploy in real life, serve the cause of environmental protection and sustainable development in Vietnam.
