This is the fifth seminar on "State regulations in the field of prevention and response to oil spills at sea and on land of the Russian Federation", hosted by the Far Eastern State University and ECOSTART Company under the chairmanship of the Southern Research and Design Institute of the Maritime Fleet (YUZHNIIMPH).

As an expert in the field of environmental incident response, Mr. Pham Van Son shared some practical experiences in allocating resources to respond to oil spills in particular and environmental incidents in general according to Vietnam's motto 4 on the spot. This experience has been effective in practice in isolated areas due to flooding and landslides in complicated natural disaster conditions.

On this occasion, the Secretary General of the Vietnam Association of Conservation, Environment and Environment also mentioned President Putin's state visit to Vietnam in June 2024 and the shipment of humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation to the Vietnamese people damaged by Typhoon Yagi in September; at the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the meaningful cooperation and assistance of the former Soviet Union and the current Russian Federation of Vietnam.
