(VACNE) - According to the tradition of VACNE, January 20, 2022, which is the 18th December of the Lunar New Year, the Association's leaders organized a visit to a number of families and members. Complying with the regulations on prevention of COVID-19, the delegation led by the Association's President consisted of only 6 people, including the Vice President of the Association and a number of officers

Visiting the family of the late Prof. Dr. Ngo Dinh Tuan (when he was alive, was a member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Sub-Association "Water and Environment"), the late expert Vu Van Dung (Standing commissioner, Vice Chairman of the Council of Vietnamese Heritage Trees), the late Dr. Pham Duc Thi (Standing commissioner, climate change expert), the late Dr. Lai Minh Hien (Standing commissioner, Head of the Association's Office), the late Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Viet (member of the Executive Committee, climate change expert), the same group of members. Family members all reviewed the memories of the activities of the veterans, wishing health, peace and success for everyone. The families sincerely thank the Association for its interest and wish the Association many successes in the new year.

Due to limited time, the delegation only had time to wish the New Year to two seniors and two great trees of the Association and also of the natural resources and environment industry: Prof. Dr. Dang Huy Huynh, 94 years old, Hero of ASEAN Biodiversity, Chairman of Heritage Tree Council and Prof. TSKH.NGND Pham Ngoc Dang, 86 years old, Chairman of the Association's Commendation Council. The professors were happy to see that in 2021 the Association had tried its best to operate, and had made appropriate adaptations to the epidemic situation over the past few years.
