This is a "special" tourist area because it is not like other tourist areas where the relationships of people working together are usually colleagues, but here, people, families stick together in a united community.

Visitors coming to Thai Hai will get to know the traditional culture of the Tay people (daily life, customs, costumes, art, rituals, food...).

Experiencing the daily life of the "village" (planting vegetables, picking vegetables, picking tea, fishing, making giầy cake, making cốm, roasting corn, baking potatoes, enjoying green tea, kitchen fire, listening to Dan Tinh, singing the Then tune,..).

Experiencing traditional and modern games (throwing Con, balancing game, walking on stilts, blind man’s bluff, hitting the hanging clay pot, tugging, walking like a swan on the lake...).

Participating in art shows and cultural exchanges (cheraw dancing, singing, dragon or lion dancing, drumming...).

The community here consists of many different ethnic groups, such as Kinh, Tay, Nung, Cao Lan, and San Chi. Tay people are typical, with many families with 3 to 4 generations living together, united and loving each other like family, like neighbors, like cousins.

With 30 original ethnic stilt houses from the Dinh Hoa safety zone restored at the Thai Hai reserve area of ecological houses-on-stilts village, in a planned space of more than 70ha (currently using more than 20ha), the museum recreates lives through the artifacts and traditional folklore of Tay and Nung ethnic minorities in the Dinh Hoa safety zone.
