At the Warding Prize Ceremony of Water Protection Contest that held in June 7, 2010 at Hanoi Opera House, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Mr. Mike Asao, Chief Representative of Canon Singapore in Vietnam, has the speech to declare the launch of the 8th contest.

AT THE WARDING PRIZE CEREMONY OF WATER PROTECTION CONTEST

Dear Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Deputy Permanentof the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
 
Dear Mr. Dang Vu Minh, Chairman of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations,
 
Ms. Marie Ottoson, deputy ambassador, the Swedish envoy in Vietnam
Respected representatives from Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment and Vietnam Environment Protection Fund
 
 
My sincere greetings are also given to the media members, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I would like to send my sincerest congratulations to all the students who took part in the competition, as you did a wonderful job.
 
 
As a member of the judging panel in the final round, I’m truly amazed by the many unique and epoch- making ideas of talented young people. The rest of the contest truly reaffirms the creativity of Vietnamese youngsters.
 
 
Canon is proud to co-organize this meaningful event as we all share the same goal of encouraging young generations to learn from each other to contribute to the community.
 
 
With the passion of students, the contest will be continuing to search for further innovative and creative solutions in the 2011
 
 
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to declare the launch of the 8th contest for the year of 2011 and I look forward to seeing you all again with even newer ideas.
 
 
Let me express my sincere thanks to Vietnam Association for the Conservation of Natural resources and Environment and the Stockholm Water Foundation for giving us this opportunity to be a part of this meaningful contest.
