(VACNE) – On March 18, 2024, the government and people of Quang Huc commune, Tam Nong district, Phu Tho province solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize Vietnamese Heritage Trees associated with local traditional festivals and plant early spring trees.

Attending and rejoicing with the people and staff of Quang Huc commune were: Prof. TSKH. Dang Vu Minh, former member of the Party Central Committee, Honorary Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations; Major General Hoang Huu The, former Political Director of the 2nd Military Region; Ms. Ha Thi Viet Ha, Head of Propaganda Department of Tam Nong district; representatives of departments of Tam Nong district, leaders of Quang Huc commune; leaders of neighboring communes and units stationed in the area; Thousands of locals and visitors and reporters attended and covered the ceremony.
