Preparations for the 8th Congress of VACNE have been basically completed

(VACNE) - On November 8, 2023, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, Standing Committee of the Executive Committee of the VACNE, held an extended session, listening to reports on preparations for the Congress and discussing how to best respond to new situations.

According to the report of Prof. Dr. Dang Huy Huynh, Head of the Congress Organizing Committee; of the leaders of the Association's Office and Nature & Environment Magazine: most of the Subcommittees preparing for the Congress have well implemented their assigned tasks, with the spirit of solidarity, cooperation and mutual emulation and direction to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Association's founding and make achievements to welcome the 8th Congress (term 2023-2028) of VACNE.

Carry out main tasks, prepare for the Congress with the emulation spirit launched at the expanded Executive Board meeting at the end of 2022 and very specific assignments at the expanded Standing meeting in early July 2023. So the preparation stages related to facilities such as: publishing, preparing documents, films, gifts, exhibitions; Organizing welcome events towards the Congress... is still implemented as planned, even though the work of mobilizing and preparing resources and finances is not really strong.

The breakthrough is thanks to the enthusiastic contributions of many units and individuals, including the e-Magazine Nature & Environment. The unit was mentioned and praised by the Presidents of VACNE and the Head of the Congress Organizing Committee at this important meeting.

Other preparation stages for the Congress such as: personnel; document; Emulation and Reward; Communication work... also achieved high results, thanks to the enthusiasm, dynamism and perseverance of many officers, Office staff and leaders of the Association.

After listening to the report and discussing, drawing lessons from the results achieved, the delegates discussed each task in great detail.
