Many activities towards the 8th Congress of VACNE were carefully prepared and carried out on schedule

(VACNE, 29/3) - This is the general comment at the face-to-face and online meeting between the Association's leaders, the Organizing Committee and the Sub-Committees in 3 regions (North-Central-South) on the preparation for the 8th Congress of VACNE by the end of 2023.

Immediately after receiving the consent of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Organizing Committee urged the Sub-Committees to develop a detailed Outline and assign tasks to each individual. The focus is on the preparation of personnel for the next term and documents to be submitted to the AGM, including the VACNE 35-year summary report, the report on activities for the term (2018 - 2023) and the Draft Mission Orientation next period.
Along with mobilizing units and individuals to provide financial support for the organization of the Congress; launching the emulation round to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology, the 35th anniversary of the VACNE and towards the 8th Congress of the Association, with more than 20 participating units, the Association also received many suggestions.
At this meeting, other activities were carried out such as: completing the procedures to apply for the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Vietnam, making a dossier for the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; producing and distributing the film “Proud of 35 years of VACNE”; organize a scientific conference on "Experience in Association activities"; survey and take care of Heritage Trees in Hai Phong; organization of the Program "For the National Green Environment in 2023"... was also discussed, with high consensus and will be implemented in the near future./.
