Leaders of VACNE, the Office 33 and A Luoi district agreed to accelerate cooperation project Dioxin decontamination experiments in A Sho with Korea

(VACNE) - On 14/7/2016, in Hanoi, the leaders of VACNE, the Office of the National Steering Committee for remedial toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam (Office 33) and the People's Committees of A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province had a discussion meeting, agreed to accelerate cooperation with Korea for the project dioxin decontamination experiments in field A Sho airport.

This is the scientific co-operation between VACNE and the Korea biological company BJC, in order to contribute overcoming consequences of chemical war caused by the US in Vietnam , reduce difficulties for the local population.

After hearing reports on the development of the project and recent practical survey in Korea lead by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh - VACNE President, Mr. Vu Chien Thang, Deputy Director Office of the Steering Committee 33 and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, President of People's Committee of A Luoi district are delighted, appreciated the efforts of VACNE and expressed their determination to continue to overcome difficulties and jointly implement this project.
