Attending the Workshop "Research and propose solutions to perfect, improve efficiency and develop Hai Tien eco-tourism model in building a model new countryside in Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa" there were a large number of experts, member of many fields of the VACNE; leaders and affiliated units of the district and communes in the region, together with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Business Association and the Hai Tien Tourism Association.

This is also one of the key activities of the VAVNE this year, in order to well implement Resolution No. 37/2021/QH15 on piloting a number of mechanisms and policies specific to the development of Thanh Hoa province; Moreover, this is also a trend in the process of building new rural areas and developing sustainable urban areas in our country. It not only brings practical effects to the local socio-economic development, but also makes a great contribution to the protection of the landscape, the environment, and the response to climate change in Vietnam.

After the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Dang Huy Huynh briefly introduced the main activities of the VACNE, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, President of the Association briefly presented this Task/Theme proposal. This is an activity to realize the orientations indicated by the Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee (December 27, 2020) to local officials and people, he said. Deploying this task, aiming at the specific goal is: building an eco-tourism model in the process of building new countryside and developing Hoang Hoa urban area in the coming years.

Along with brief reports on the overview of history, natural, environmental and socio-economic conditions at the grassroots, the representatives of some communes and businesses in Hoang Hoa  also proposed many initiatives, in order to build specific eco-tourism models suitable to local capabilities and practical circumstances.

The good news is that, all the participants of the Workshop expressed their determination and affirmed that they will cooperate responsibly, to implement this topic successfully, to contribute to promoting the local socio-economic sustainable development approach. In the comments also expressed confidence that, with the potentials of people, traditions, cultural history, natural resources and the determination of businesses and people in the area; plus the "mind" of scientists, surely this mission will be completed according to the set plan./
