From the sign of prosperity, together to overcome difficulties, try to complete the task in 2022
(VACNE) – That is the affirmation of the key leaders of the VACNE, at the meeting to review the work of the first quarter of 2022 held on the morning of April 4 in Hanoi.
Agree with the report presented by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, the leaders of VACNE all said that in the past few months, despite many difficulties due to the epidemic, and the interweaving holidays and New Year, the whole Association still tried to complete the work according to the requiremented plan. In particular, the atmosphere of the Association's academic activities has improved and the good news is that all VACNE members and their families have safely overcome the epidemic.
The organizing of the preliminary 3-month publication of the electronic magazine "Nature and Environment"; intimate meetings and visits with the Seniors on the occasion of the Lunar New Year organized by the Association's Office, was evaluated by the members' public opinion: thoughtful and warm.
In the context of the raging epidemic, the Association has continuously organized a number of international seminars related to the protection of nature, environment and human health. Specifically: a online webinar on the topic of "Caring for ancient trees - Heritage Trees" with Chinese partners; Workshop on the topic “Impacts of environmental pollution on biodiversity and human health” with the UK and Workshop on “Preserving Heritage Trees” on the occasion of the 12th Anniversary of the launch of this event (March 18).
The Heritage Tree Council still holds regular meetings when receiving documents from localities. In the past 3 months, the Association has recognized more than 200 Heritage Trees, coordinated with the organizations to recognize nearly 10 ancient trees in Cao Bang, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Ben Tre... as Vietnam Heritage Trees.
From the results achieved in the first quarter and the above shortcomings, the leaders of VACNE have set out very specific tasks for the second quarter to implement the 2022 plan approved by the Executive Board.
