Around 70 kilometers from the mountainous province’s Ha Giang City, Du Gia is situated in the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark area, captivating local travelers and foreign tourists alike with its natural landscape and culture of the Tay ethnic people.

The village is surrounded by vast rice fields, unseen in urban areas. Apart from exploring the local culture, a fascinating aspect of the village is the traditional stilt houses of the Du Gia villagers.

Although tourism services have not yet been developed in the village, it is still gaining popularity among tourists for its unspoiled beauty.

Travelers can join the local women in their long dresses, as they catch fish from streams. At sunrise or sunset, there are small paths in the village, lined with trees and flowers, to walk around. Swimming in the cascades is also an unmissable experience.

The local markets are also worth a visit. Travelers can find nearly all the specialties of the Tay, Mong and Dao ethnic people in these markets.

Summer is the best time to visit the charming village. During the season, travelers can enjoy the fresh air, cool climate and picturesque view of the vast green fields across mountains.
