Energy Fair

Exhibition Fair on products with efficient energy use and renewable energy saving (ENCON EXPO 2011) at Tan Binh Exhibition Fair Center (HCM City) had been held from 13th-16th October 2011 by HCM City Energy Saving Center. The fair had 80 stalls and attracted about 1,000 participations per day.

While other consumer fairs attracted mainly women, visitors of this fair were men in majority. When being asked, answers of these gentlemen were unanimously the same: ”Saving energy is saving money”.
Based on 5 criteria: capability of saving and raising effectiveness of energy use (to reduce affects on the environment), economic effectiveness, technological levels, capability of application on a large scale, and level of localization, the Fair Organizing Committee has given certificates of Energetically effective product to 17 companies for some typical products like solar energy cell boards, water heaters by solar energy, control and warning devices, Led bulbs, induction light switches, power saving devices for industrial sewing machines, isolation board with high loading capacity, heat resistant paints for metal roofing, tiles, and walls, multi-purpose lubricants, and control and monitoring systems for public lightning.
