The Save Vietnam’s Wildlife Centre has released 17 rare pangolins and a macaque back to the wild.
The wild animals were recently rescued by police from several illegal wild animal trafficking rings and transferred to the centre a month ago.
They've been closely monitored and taken care of over the past month before being released back into the wild at the two national parks.
Save Vietnam's Wildlife has successfully saved nearly 1,700 ganglions of different varieties so far.
The Manis Javanica pangolins are listed in the critically endangered group in the Vietnam Red Book. Although pangolin trading is banned in Vietnam, many cases have been found.
SVW has become the world's largest pangolin rescue centre. It has successfully saved nearly 1,700 ganglions of different varieties so far.
