The Ta Giang grassland is located in the administrative area of Thanh Son Commune, Khanh Son District, Khanh Hoa Province. When mentioning Ta Giang, local people cannot help but talk about its mystery and charm.

A small stream flows from the steep mountains through the green forest and winding valley, creating a majestic and breath-taking natural landscape.

Visitors to the grassland can immerse themselves in the cool stream and experience fishing, then cook the fish for their meal.

Passing through the streams, the vast Ta Giang grassland appears like a never-ending green strip.

In the summer, cogon grass blooms in white everywhere on the hillsides, adding a poetic touch to the scenery.

During this time, the expansive and airy space offers magnificent views of the distant mountains.

When walking along the path, trekkers can hear the wind rustling through the grassy hills, creating a melodious sound reminiscent of singing.

The ideal time for the Ta Giang trek is during dry season from November to March, as the period preceding it tends to be windy. During this time, there are fewer thunderstorms, thus the roads are not as slippery as in the rainy season, making it easier to cross the rocky outcrops.

In particular, the dry season causes the stream water to gradually decrease, creating favourable conditions for trekking and exploring without concern about flooding.

From June onwards, the rainy season sets in, making it less suitable for trekking.

Trekkers to Ta Giang need to traverse the entire journey on foot. Therefore, visitors should possess good physical strength, especially agility and leg strength, as the continuous descent on the first day could strain the knee ligaments.

Visitors are also responsible for bringing their own food, water, and cooking utensils.

Therefore, depending on their physical condition and the weather, trekkers should choose the right time to explore Ta Giang to have a safe and meaningful trip, during which they will definitely be impressed with the brilliant sunset or sunrise moments from the green grasslands of Ta Giang.
