Viet Nam is home to some of the world’s greatest riches in biodiversity including insect fauna. It is also considered to be one of the nations most affected by climate change. In Viet Nam, as elsewhere, the linkages between biodiversity and climate change are complex and intricately related to human activities in the ecosystem. In Viet Nam, there is particular concern regarding the impact of climate change to the health and well-being of human, to forestrial, agricultural, aquatic ecosystems. Based on analysis of insect role in nature and society life, and impacts of climate change to insects generally, to economical significance insects particularly, recommendations for insects conservation and control of insect pests and vectors in the climate change context have been proposed.
