110 businesses receive Golden Cup for being “green” in Vietnam

SAGA.vn - The Vietnam Association for Natural and Environmental Protection coordinated with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to organise an awards ceremony for the Golden Cup for environmental protection in Vietnam in the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Culture Palace on October 25.

110 among 189 units in 32 provinces and cities nationwide were chosen to receive the Golden Cup. The selected businesses strictly obeyed regulations to protect the environment, offered a wide range of environmentally friendly products and made many positive contributions to protecting the environment.
Many enterprises were honoured for applying green solutions and energy, using energy-saving materials during production.
Present the event were Uong Chu Luu, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Dang Vu Minh, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and the Environment, leaders of ministries, departments and representatives of several universities and businesses from across the country.
