First project in Hanoi won environmentally friendly certificate

The project of luxury-apartment Mulberry Lane has just received “Environmentally friendly Apartment” certificate by the Singaporean Ministry of Construction. It is the first housing project in Hanoi getting this award.


Singapore-invested property developer CapitaLand in cooperation with Hoang Thanh Investment and Infrastructure Development Company built the luxury-apartment Mulberry Lane. 


Mulberry Lane started building on Sept 2009 and came into operation from Sept 2013. The project consists of 5 buildings with 1,478 apartments located in Mo Lao, a new residential area in Ha Dong district.

Mulberry Lane with striking design and landscape space is built according to environmental protection trends. The complex projects are arranged by stretching and airy thanks to architectural space solution which make full advantage of natural elements such as sun, wind and air. 80 % of spaces are utilized for ventilation and natural light and it uses power saving air conditioning and automatic shut-off lights lifts system. In addition, CapitaLand also focuses on using resource and energy efficiently.

The project is equipped with garbage collection appliances which can sort and recycle waste. In addition, Mulberry Lane project recently received award of green building awarded by Vietnam Association of Architects and Architecture Magazine.
