Vietnamese artists join global environmental movement

Many Vietnamese artists have actively responded to the global Challenge for Change movement for environmental protection.


Over the past few days, the images of foreign young people who collected litter on Vinh Luong Beach in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, have been much shared on Facebook.

They wanted to turn the polluted beach into a playground for children.


This has inspired lots of Vietnamese artists to work on environment protection, including Miss Vietnam Tourism 2008 Phan Thi Ngoc Diem.


Meanwhile, Miss Vietnam 2010 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Han, the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2018 Bui Phuong Nga and actor Binh An also gathered litter at Dinh Cong lake area in Hanoi. Several hours, the team collected around 20 bags of rubbish.

Earlier, singer Ho Quynh Huong also joined the launch ceremony of Earth Hour 2019.
