Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, VACNE’s President, spoke briefly about the idea as well as the process of implementing events to recognize Vietnam Heritage Trees. Madam Vice Chairman of the Tay Ho District highly appreciated the idea as well as the staff of the district’s Cultural Division, who have been enthusiastic and timely in planning the recognition ceremonies for 9 muom trees (Mangifera foetida lour) at the Voi Phuc Temple in Thuy Khue Ward. These events not only reestablishes a good tradition in the community but also symbolizes preservation of environmental landscapes, conserves historical-cultural heritage in Tay Ho District, and creates new and unique tourism points in Vietnam.
