19 January 2011 | 11:39:00 AM

During Great Celebration of 1000 years of Thang Long - Ha Noi, Ha Noi will publish an atlas of ancient trees in Hanoi.

The atlas will have 83 pages (size A4), and will include many pictures, maps, and notes. For the convenience of study and conservation activities, 725 ancient trees are digitally indicated in the map. This map is also the largest research project on Hanoi’s ancient trees. Based on this atlas, some trees will be selected as Vietnam heritage trees, and will enjoy special care and protection.
