The place the first Heritage Trees were honored to be restored and embellished

On the morning of March 30, 2011, Dong Da District People’s Committee solemnly held the launching ceremony of the project to restore Voi Phuc Temple, Thuy Khe Ward, Hanoi.
At the launching ceremony many members of Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment were presented. Mr. Tung, Head of Management Board of Voi Phuc Temple expressed his pleasure with VACNE members that thanks to the recognition of 9 “Muom” trees(Mangifera foetida) as Vietnam Heritage Trees, the project could become true so quickly.
Voi Phuc Temple in Thuy Khe, where the first ceremony to recognize the Heritage Trees (October 5, 2010) took place is being considered to restore and embellish with the total investment of nearly VND 20 billion and the execution time of 200 days.
Participating in the ceremony were Mr. Ngo Van Du, Politburo member cum Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission and Mrs. Tong Thi Phong, a member of the Politburo, Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly (sitting in the middle of the top row)
