The community of ethnic groups in Nguyen Binh district (Cao Bang) held a ceremony to welcome the Certificate of the Vietnam Heritage Tree early next week

(VACNE) - Mr. Dinh Ngoc Hai, Chairman of the Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment of Cao Bang province, said: Monday morning (September 7, 2020) the government and people of ethnic groups in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province will organize Ceremony to welcome the Certificate of Recognition of a Vietnamese Heritage Tree for an ancient tree in Hoai Khao village, Quang Thanh commune.
This is a tree that is more than 200 years old, and has been approved and recognized by VACNE's Vietnam Heritage Tree Council in early 2020, with the local name of the Cay Phat tree. The Association's experts determined that: this is a Bischofia (scientific name is Bischofia javanica Blume).
The organizers let know, in addition to the representatives of the departments, branches and social organizations of the province, also the leaders of Nguyen Binh district attended and spoke at the opening of this solemn ceremony; At the same time, together with the representatives of the VACNE, they planted souvenir trees.
