Defence experts from ASEAN countries, as well as many world-leading experts from the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, USA…, shared valuable knowledge and experience at the Workshop, opening up opportunities for learning, cooperation, and sustainable development between ASEAN countries in general and Vietnam in particular.
The Vietnam Environmental Incident Response Center (SOS) was honored to participate in this meaningful Conference and had shared seven practical experiences in preventing, responding to, and handling environmental incidents quickly and effectively, drawn from the successful response activities to more than 300 different incidents at seas, on rivers, on coastlines, in mangrove forests, at seaports, warehouses, in industrial parks, on roads, in densely populated areas, even on high mountains and underground, across all regions of Vietnam. Those experiences come through the tireless efforts of the SOS Center's experts to research and develop many unique technologies.
The experience sharing of Mr. Pham Van Son - Director of the SOS Center attracted special attention from international experts, especially experts from ASEAN countries with natural climate conditions quite similar to Vietnam.
