Seminar "Environment and sustainable development in the context of climate change" attracted many domestic and international scholars

(VACNE) - Seminar "Environment and sustainable development in the context of climate change" took place on 13.11.2015, in Hanoi has attracted many domestic and international scholars and managers of many localities.

This is 3rd scientific seminar on the topic "Environment and sustainable development" conducted by the Centre for Research of Natural Resources & Environment (CRES) - Vietnam National University in collaboration with VACNE, funded by Hanns Seidel Foudotion (Germany) 

Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Hoang Van Thang, director of CRES and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, President of VACNE all confirmed, that this is the responsibility of scientists to the country, in order to implement the policy of the Communist Party and the State.

At the Seminar, there were more than 10 reports, speeches of the scientists referred to themes: natural resource management, environmental protection, sustainable development and climate change, are presented. Multiple views on "Tradeoff of ecosystem services in the context of climate change"; "Ensure environment quality", "Green Growth" ... and the solutions to cope with the challenges related to the environment and sustainable development in the context of climate change were also discussed at the Seminar.
