Preparations underway for green film festival

HA NOI (VNS)– The fifth National Environment Film Festival will be held at the end of this year.

The event, which has been held every three year since 1998, aims to encourage cinema makers cover environment topics and enhance people's knowledge on protecting the environment.— File Photo

It is being organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in conjunction with the Viet Nam Cinema Association and Viet Nam Television.

Entries to date include feature films, documentaries, reportage and cartoons with an environmental theme produced between January 1 and November 1 this year. Entries must reach the jury no later than November 1.

Feature films should be no longer than 100 minutes in length; documentaries should be between five and 30 minutes while cartoons should be between three and 15 minutes.

The event, which has been held every three years since 1998, aims to encourage cinema makers cover environment topics and enhance people's knowledge on protecting the environment.
