(VACNE) - On 24 January 2019, the event “Make green Banh Chung cake with the poor people for Tet” was officially organized at Culture – Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Ha Noi)
Vietnam Association For Conservation Of Nature And Environment (VACNE) have maintained this event since 2015, collaboration with the Managerment Board of Culture – Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (belong to Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and many partners, enterprises, benefactors held every year, to arise the traditional “The leaves protect tattered ones “and moral “when drinking water, think of its source” of Vietnamese.
This event “Make green Banh Chung cake with the poor people for Tet” was held to connect with the community in New Year. This is the time for units, individuals take responsibility, attention, its share to society, especialy are the poor familes; and this is the time for enterprises to show their brand, connecting and honoring the culture traditionals of Vietnamese.
Attending the event “Make green Banh Chung cake with the poor people for Tet” are leaders of departments, enterprises, representative of VACNE: Professor Dang Huy Huynh, Vice President and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, standing member of VACNE and many members of the Cycling for Environment Club. Along with participation of Muong, Dao, Thai, Raglai, Mong, Kho Mu, Tay, Ta Oi, Ba Na, KoTu, Ede, Khmer ethnic, reporter, media.
According to the Organization Committee, the event “Make green Banh Chung cake with the poor people for Tet – 2019” will continues until 26/1. At the end of the opening ceremony, the organizers and volunteers will hand over gifts to the families of Agent Orange victims and ethnic minorities in Ba Vi, Thai Nguyen and Quang Tri. , ...
